NODA NORTH WEST REVIEW

This was a good performance by this society and consequently an enjoyable evening for their audience. In the role of Kipps Jonathan Cash gave a very competent performance, and made the most of a strong voice, and good stage presence. Cathy Barber as Ann gave a sincere performance and rang sweetly. There were good performances from Stephen Hogan, Diana Hill and Chris Buckingham as the shop apprentices. Gillian Lee was ideal as Helen Walsingham and Peter Weston was well cast as Chitterlow. The chorus were strong and made the most of the 'Flash Bang Wallop' number. Scenery and costumes were good, and choreography was of a very high standard, all of this adding up to a good evening's entertainment.
